This video was group of all the techniques we have learnt during the course of this project. I watched many different clips and examples of these shots and then I tried to re-create them. While watching clips and examples, I learnt different types of shots and the use of them to convey a meaning on to audience for example the use of a low angle shot makes a character look powerful and dominant. We used the photography studio to take all the shots. I also used equipment available such as a dolly and cannon camera because of this I learnt how to track an object or character. To edit the footage, I used premier pro. I added different transitions so it could run a bit smoother from shot to shot. I tried different ones to get one to match each shot. This was my first time using premier pro and if I was to use it again to edit my footage, I would add in transitions that matched and flowed a bit better.
COWBOY SHOOT-OUT VIDEO.
Our task was to use shots we have learnt to create a cow-boy shootout vid. We used a cannon camera to shoot the shots in the studio. We picked the studio as we wanted to use the green screen however this is where we came across our first problem we found out the green screen wouldn't work as it was creased so it was difficult to remove it from the footage. This is why we used black and white to try and cover it up but also give it that old western feel to it. To turn it to black and white I turned down the saturation to 0 to all the clips. Doing this project i learnt so much. I learnt how to download music and editing sounds. I learnt how to add a green screen gun shot then remove and move the green screen so it fits in. I also slowed down certain clips to make it feel more intense. I also learnt how to use sound effects such as someone dying and gunshots i had to download these then add them and match it up. I worked with 2 other people who where the actors so i had to direct them for my shots and different angles I wanted.
